* Fourth Annual Women’s Leadership Conference will be held from 1-3 March 2014
* Applications and abstract submissions will be accepted starting from May 15th 2013
* Deadline for abstract submissions is February 1st 2014 or as long as space is available, as all submissions are being reviewed and accepted on a rolling admission basis.
* Deadline for final papers submission is February 15th 2014

Location

Fifth Annual Women’s Leadership Conference will take place in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. The sessions will be held in the “Royal Benja Hotel”, centrally located in the main commercial part of the city and easily accessible for any point within the city.

Accommodation

We offer you accommodation in “Royal Benja Hotel”, a very nice and quality three star hotel, centrally located in the main commercial part of the city and easily accessible for any point within the city.

We offer you accommodation in “Royal Benja Hotel” (http://www.royalbenja.th.com/index.html), which is where the Conference will take place. This is a quality three star hotel located in one of Bangkok’s best commercial areas, with easy access to both downtown and the international airport. All rooms are equipped with private bath, AC, telephone and TV.

WLEC 2014 participants are entitled to special discounted rate of 50 Euro for a single or a double room, with breakfast and tax included.

Please, note that accommodation arrangements are to be made trough Tomorrow People Organization in order to avail on discounted group rate. Bookings made directly with the hotel will result in higher accommodation fee.

Meals:

All the lunches and coffee breaks during the Conference are included in the Conference price, so is a networking dinner that will take place on 2nd March 2014.

  • Admission to scheduled conference activities;
  • Meals and coffee breaks during the conference;
  • Admission to networking dinner;
  • Copy of the conference proceedings on a CD Rom;
  • Certificate of attendance/ presented paper;
  • Presentation of submitted paper and its publication in the official conference proceedings.*

*Applies for registered presenters. All presenters are entitled to regular admission fee regardless of their student status.

**On-site registration is subject to availability. Due to limited space in the venue, we cannot guarantee the availability of spots for on-site registration, unless they have been previously deposited and secured. Presenters are strongly encouraged to confirm their position in advance in order to ensure for their presentation to be scheduled in the official Conference agenda and paper published in the official Conference proceedings.

***A proof of full time student status must be sent to contact@tomorrowpeople.org. We accept either a valid student card or a letter from the university.

Financial Support:

Due to our non-profit nature and very limited funds, we are unable to provide any financial support to our participants. However, we encourage our participants to search for funding from outside organizations, and we can provide a letter of support for them. A number of our attendees receive some sort of funding from their home universities/ organizations as well as from the local NGO, corporate and governmental sectors.

To minimize the cost of the Conference, the Conference fee was projected based on the running costs only. We strongly encourage all applicants to apply early in order to avail on the early bid admission fee.

Applications:

On-line applications will be accepted on a rolling admission basis as long as there is space available. Due to a highly competitive admission process, we encourage all persons to apply early.

Abstracts/ Papers Submissions:

If interested in presenting a paper/ research at the Conference, you can submit your abstract along with the application form. For admitted presenters, who want their paper published in the official conference proceedings and who have completed their registration requirements, full papers are due February 15th 2014 in electronic version and following format:

  • A4 size paper;
  • Margins 2,5cm on the left and right side;
  • Single line spacing;
  • Fonts:
    • Title- Times New Roman 14 bold;
    • Subtitles- Times New Roman 12 bold;
    • Text- Times New Roman 12
  • Left justified formatting;
  • Author/s’ name/s and affiliation under title;
  • Abstract of maximum 200 words on first page (under author/s’ name/s);
  • Short bio-data of writer/s at end of paper.

Publications:

All papers accepted to be presented at the Conference will be published by Tomorrow People Organization, in the official ISBN Conference proceedings publication.

Acceptance:

All submissions (presentation abstracts, outlines, papers, summaries, etc.) will be reviewed and will serve as the basis for acceptance/rejection.

Admission:

Approximately 80 participants, including students, scholars, corporate and NGO representatives will be invited to participate in this highly interesting and challenging international event. Successful applicants will be notified within ten days from the day their application has been received.

Agenda:

Conference Agenda will be available in February 2014, after the list of presentations and accepted papers has been finalized.
